Implementation of Jobs3 Platform

Project Overview

Jobs3 represents the inaugural initiative under the Three Protocol to transition employment and freelancing marketplaces to a decentralized architecture. The launch of Jobs3.io serves as a demonstrative model of the envisioned concept.

Problem Statement

Geographic Limitations and Economic Barriers: Conventional job boards are confined by geographical borders, constraining access to a global pool of talent and hindering diversity in hiring. The financial burdens associated with job posting on mainstream platforms pose significant barriers to small enterprises and limit the visibility of job seekers, particularly affecting the less affluent.

Lack of AI Implementation: Currently Employers and Employees/freelancers on Upwork and Fiverr are required to manually fill in requirements regarding the services they are pursuing. Employers are given little guidance on how to find the best employee and how to write a job description that will be best suited to their needs. Employees and freelancers have little practical guidance on how to write a CV that correctly matches their skills and appeals to employers who would be best suited for the employee's pursuits.

Once the procurement stage behind, both employees and employers are required to scroll through hundreds of profiles before knowing that they have the best partner on the platform for the job.

Centralization and Exclusion: Predominant platforms' centralized operations necessitate government identification and banking facilities, systematically excluding the unbanked, often prevalent in developing regions. This therefore means that the global employment marketplace is missing out on 40% of the global potential workforce some of whom have demonstrated great talent and skills in their respective jurisdictions. It also means that those who don't have access to national identification cards are excluded from the global online work environment, reducing the advancement of the global body of knowledge and technological implementation.

Proposed Solution

Decentralized and Blockchain-Integrated Platform: The Jobs3 platform will be grounded in blockchain technology, functioning as a DAO to democratize decision-making. Smart contracts will ensure equitable and transparent agreements between parties.

NL AI Employer/Employee Assistant: All users will have access to their own Neural Network AI Assistant. This model will map all current employers, employees, freelancers and jobs on a real time basis. Once a profile leaves or job is filled, the platform the Neural Network will have that node deleted thus ensuring that all data is up to date on a second by second basis.

The AI assisting will guide Employers through the whole process of analysing their situation, writing their jobs description, evaluating potential employees and making suggestions for employment terms.

It will likewise guide the Employee through evaluating his or her skill set, creating a CV, matching their profile to employers and suggesting negotiation basis to find them the best arrangements.

Cryptocurrency Integration: By adopting cryptocurrencies as the primary mode of transaction, Jobs3 intends to encompass those currently excluded due to lack of banking infrastructure.

Global Accessibility and Educational Resources: Jobs3 will aim for universal accessibility, offering resources to bridge the educational divide and support users in mastering platform functionalities and blockchain technology.

Solution Benefits

Inclusive Financial and Professional Opportunities: Jobs3 endeavours to provide access to employment without the need for traditional financial systems, thereby including a broader demographic and facilitating global payment transactions.

Merit-Based Evaluation: Emphasizing skill over formal credentials, Jobs3 promotes a system where individuals are assessed based on their portfolio and professional reputation.

Community-Driven Growth: Jobs3 fosters a sense of community, encouraging collaborative development and knowledge sharing within the Web3 space.

Platform Goals and Features

Decentralized Employment Hub: The platform aims to dismantle the constraints of centralized job markets by creating a space where freelancers and clients interact directly.

Global Network and Skill Matchmaking: Jobs3 seeks to connect professionals worldwide with opportunities that align with their expertise and passion.

Operational Mechanics

Marketplace Functionality: Employers post job listings, and job seekers apply through a streamlined interface. Disputes are resolved through a DAO-driven system, underpinning trust and efficiency.

Technical Architecture: Utilizing programming languages like Solidity, Rust, and Delphi for smart contracts, Jobs3 assures transparency and accountability in its operations. Non-essential and private data are stored securely, with provisions for user-directed deletion.

Blockchain Utilization: The Tectum blockchain underpins the platform's functionality, offering pseudonymization for users requiring anonymity and the execution of smart contracts.

Development Progress

Current Status: The development of backend smart contracts and portal functionalities for Jobs3 is in progress.

Future Roadmap: Jobs3 plans to continuously evolve the platform, introducing new features and functionalities to enhance user experience and broaden its service offerings within the Web3 ecosystem.
